Introducing
Sustainability
Tait uses high-performance, exterior-grade materials so our products last in Australian outdoor environments. Metal is a finite resource extracted with significant environmental impact.
Because of this, we treat it with respect and ensure it retains value with a long life. All our pieces are made to order and made with precision technology by skilled craftspeople ensuring there is minimal waste during our manufacturing processes. We have embedded sustainability principles throughout our business.

In passing, Moort Design Co-Director Jason Hirst was once told to check out what a business in Naarm / Melbourne was up to. That business was Tait. What began as a brief comment has since grown into a close and considered partnership.
Today, Moort Design proudly manufactures all Tait products under Tait Form. Tait has been operating for more than 30 years and continues to lead from the front. All products are backed by a 10-year structural warranty. Tait products are made, assembled, and packaged locally. Many materials are sourced within Australia, and the business partners with local recyclers wherever possible, resulting in fewer carbon miles and stronger support for the Australian industry.
Our manufacturing partnership with Tait means that all our products are produced, manufactured and freighted with the highest quality possible.
By partnering with Tait, Moort Designs ensures each product is crafted to the highest standard, honouring our stories, culture, and connection to Country. Tait's manufacturing techniques, advanced tooling, expert fabrication team and willingness to support local means that Moort Designs products are built to endure. This allows our team to share and carry the stories within our products onto the next generation.
